The Phoenix Contact PIT Series ( Push-in Terminal Blocks ) are the new generation of modular terminal blocks in the Clipline Complete System. The PIT series features an easy, direct conductor connection using the advantages of the CLIPLINE complete system. With up to 50% lower insertion force necessary, it is now possible to directly plug solid and stranded conductors with ferrules from 0.34 mm 2 without tools. The Phoenix Contact PIT Series (Push-In Terminal Blocks) uses a special contact spring that makes plugging easier than ever while providing high contact quality.
The technical data of the Push-In Technology terminal blocks clearly surpass the requirements of the relevant standards, as in the case of all other connection methods from Phoenix Contact. The gas-tight conductor contacting also fulfills special criteria, such as the vibration test in acc. with the railway standard EN 50155.
